We get asked about the name. It’s a reflection of the world we live in. While “bytes” (the digital world) are everywhere, we’re here to champion “books”—the real, tangible objects that let you slow down, unplug, and truly immerse yourself.

We are Books Or Bytes LLC, a small, independent bookseller operating right from our home base in Irvine, California.

We are a small, family-run business. Every book you see on our site—whether it’s a Biography, a Comic Book, or a Romance novel—is a title we’ve personally curated. More importantly, it’s physically in stock on our own shelves right here in Irvine.

When you place an order, we are the ones who personally pull your book, package it with care, and ship it to you.
