General Terms

Product Condition: To be eligible for a return, the book must be in its original, unread, and resalable condition. It must be free of any damage, bent pages, or markings.
Return Cases & Shipping Costs
We categorize returns into two simple scenarios to clarify how shipping costs are handled:
1. Due to Our Error (Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Item): If the book you received is damaged, has a printing defect, or is not the title you ordered, we take full responsibility.

Return Shipping Cost: We will provide a pre-paid shipping label. You will not incur any cost.

Resolution: We will offer you the choice of a free replacement or a full refund.
2. Due to a Personal Request (Change of Mind): If you ordered the wrong book or simply changed your mind, we are happy to accept the return.

Return Shipping Cost: The customer is responsible for the cost of shipping the item back to us.

Regarding Exchanges
We do not process direct exchanges. The recommended method is to return your original item for a refund and place a new order for the book you would like instead.
Order Cancellations
You may request to cancel an order within 12 hours of purchase. After this period, your order has likely been sent to our US distribution partners for processing and cannot be canceled.
Restocking Fee
We believe in a simple process. booksorbytesllc does not charge a restocking fee for any eligible return.
